HealthGuard™ is a high quality polyester staple fiber incorporating a dual action anti-allergen topical finish which benefit from application of HealthGuard's dual action, anti-microbial and anti-dust mite technology.

Fibers are protected from dust-mites, one of the causes of a range of common allergies, such as asthma and eczema.

This product overcome the issues caused by ineffective bacterial control experienced with many of today's household products.

How does it work?
The unique fiber will deter dust mite populations whilst also providing protection against the growth of a range of bacteria - ensuring continued protection of the fiber's unique properties.
The dual action properties of the fiber provide long lasting protection. Firstly microbes coming into contact with the fibre are inhibited via dehydration of the cell molecule - thus preserving the fiber, removing the dust mite's food source, preserving microbial degradation, staining and odours. In addition the fibre's anti microbial properties ensure bacterial growth is inhibited.

Flexible technology
HealthGuard fibres have shown anti-microbial performance when tested by Shake Flask Test and to AATCC 147. Testing at TEC, France has shown the application of HealthGuard to fibers reduces dustmite populations by up to 99% in 6 weeks.

SuperBall® ball type siliconized polyester fibre (Cluster Fibres)

SuperBall® fiber is suitable to be used as a filling material in:

Advantages of using SuperBall® polyester fiber:

SuperBall® fiber is the first choice to upgrade ordinary chemical fiber product as well as to manufacture middle and high grade bedding products.

Available in different grades of pre-agglomeration and dimension of the balls

The SuperBall® fiber (ball-shaped siliconized anti-agglomerant chemical fiber with anti-allergical character) is more curled, fluffier and more elastic.
It is easy to regain its elasticity when aired in the sun and patted after being pressed for a long time.

Compared with a traditional pillow core filled with fluffed fiber, the pillow cores filled with SuperBall® fiber have the following advantages:

  • More elastic:
    The filling used for traditional pillow core is fluffed fiber. This kind of filling is mainly structured of single fiber. The elasticity of the filling is the same coherent elasticity of the single fiber. But pearl sized balls are ball shaped; each ball consists of more than 50 single fibers. Besides the coherent elasticity of the single fiber itself, the ball also has an all- directional high elasticity incomparable to any single fiber. The reason is that curled fibers are tangled with each other and each ball has an outward expanding stress which makes the ball expand only instead of shrink

  • Long period of utilization:
    Because of the fact that the SuperBall® fiber is pre-agglomerated into discrete pearl-sized balls, results a great anti-agglomerant power, which means that the fiber will maintain its initial properties for a great period of time, even after many washes

  • More air-permeable:
    Pearl- sized balls from SuperBall® fiber are granular balls in shape. Theoretically speaking, the contact between balls is point contact. Even if chemical fiber balls are deformed under pressure, the air permeable space which exists between balls is still much more bigger compared with that between single fibers. This result will keep the inside of pillow core dry and comfortable without much less odour and the chance of mite breeding is thus minimized

  • The effect of micro moving massage:
    The balls from SuperBall® fiber are relatively free balls inside the pillow core. Besides deformation under pressure, the balls will also be subjected to micro relative movements according to the gesture of the sleeper. Therefore the sleeper will obtain the effect of micro moving massage. Such effect will become even better by the breath of the person in sound sleep. The ball shape makes the pillow case cloth become slightly uneven. When the sleeper moves his skin on such cloth surface, the effect of massage will become more obvious

  • Machine washable:
    The balls from SuperBall® fiber will expand under pressure due to the all-directional expanding elasticity. So the balls can automatically fill each space full. They can keep the original plumpness even after machine wash. Tests made by authorized organizations in Canada show that the resilience ratio is more than 98 % after the balls are machine washed 200 times

  • Reducing snoring:
    Due to the most suitable resilience ratio for human body, SuperBall® chemical fiber can provide all-round support for head, neck and shoulders to suite the shape of head. The balls can prevent stiff neck, ache all over the neck and shoulders. They can also keep the natural straightness of the spine when a person sleeps on his side and keep the angle of elevation at 5o when he sleeps on his back so as to ensure his smooth breath and to reduce snoring.

Packing of filling materials:

In strong raffia sacks of approximate 15 Kg each.

Each sack / bale has sticked a label with:

  • product name
  • customer name
  • date and time of production
  • net and gross weight
  • operator and shift
  • lot number
  • bar code containing all above information

For optimized transportation and storage costs the sacks are vacuum-pressed by 3 or 4 into a bale of approximate 50 Kg.
